Detailed Problem Description
Email from Mark H on 05/12/2015:
Cap gemini would like to perform SAP maintenance at 8AM Easter time this Sunday. Can you clean up the queues or LUWs or whatever is needed for them to start before 8am?
Solution Analysis and Recommendations
Since NEP is down for maintenance, we need to deschedule all the process chains in BPP and reschedule them after NEP is back online.
Need to check the the following once NEP is back online after maintenance:
1. RFC connection between BPP & NEP.
2. Need to Load the master data for the 0COUNTRY_TEXT for master data load testing.
3. Trigger the V3 job for 11th application in NEP for testing the V3 jobs.
4. Need to load the transaction data for the datasources 2LIS_11_VASTH, 2LIS_11_VASCL, 2LIS_11_VAKON, 2LIS_11_V_SSL, 2LIS_11_V_SCL and 2LIS_11_VAHDR for transaction data load testing.
Resolution
1. Cleared the open data queues in NEP before the maintenance.
2. Checked all the tests successfully listed above in BPP & NEP. After manually loading & monitoring all the chains in BPP for global region, need to schedule all the Global & Regional Process chains as per their normal schedule. Please find the attached spreadsheet for the list of scheduled process chains & their start timings:
